  3. Back in Time Live- 22 JUN 07

  5. Jeroen Tel re-confirmed Back in Time
  6. Live 2007, the latest in the eccentric
  7. series of C64 live events which have
  8. proved in the past to be unmissable...
  9. the acts are Jeroen, Reyn Ouwehand (who
  10. will be performing lots of instruments
  11. live as in his Garfield video),
  12. Danceaway (who will surprise you in a
  13. good way!), & the Las Vegas duo of
  14. 8-Bit Weapon & ComputeHer, who were the
  15. impetus for the event.

  17. Paul "Skitz" Hadrill & I checked out
  18. the venue at the end of APR & were
  19. happy with what we found. Lots of sound
  20. equipment, a stage which can handle it,
  21. a toilet that's clean & spanky, & a
  22. bistro attached that you can eat at if
  23. you get peckish. The location is good
  24. too, since it's right in the City of
  25. London. You can't sneeze without
  26. getting your snot all over an eaterie
  27. of some description.

  29. There are lots of tickets left, so I'd
  30. be grateful if you'd buy them! Seth
  31. will be bringing some bootleg copies of
  32. his new cover album, which should be
  33. titled "Have you contacted Hot Pussy
  34. yet??", but which is actually a much
  35. improved version of his last cover
  36. album. I'm also going to be putting his
  37. stuff on its own separate section in
  38. the new shop, since I'm expanding that
  39. side of things now the digital download
  40. stuff is in place.

  42. Did you know that the Back in Time Live
  43. 2007 product holds a lot of bonus
  44. material about the previous Back in
  45. Time Lives? You don't need to have a
  46. ticket to download most of it, & there
  47. are tons of material: Videos, documents
  48. from the organisers, music tracks which
  49. have been created for or only played at
  50. BIT Live, etc...

  52. Anyway, it will be an excellent
  53. occasion which can only be better in
  54. one way: YOU have got to be there
  55. There's also a remixer hangout the day
  56. before centered around a yet-to-be-
  57. decided pub near to the hotel all the
  58. remixers & scene personalities seem to
  59. be staying at.

  61. If you've bought a "ticket", you might
  62. be wondering where it is: well, it's a
  63. guestlist affair. I haven't forgotten
  64. about my promise of a PDF file, but
  65. really if your name is on the list,
  66. that will be enough to get you in.
  67. We're not, like, ticket Nazis or
  68. anything ;-) There may be the ability
  69. to buy entry on the door, but you'd be
  70. silly to count on it if you're coming
  71. from any distance.

  73. The other CD released at the event will
  74. be Reyn Ouwehand's "The Bland, the
  75. Blithe & the Bizarre", which is an
  76. incredibly jolly CD with lots of
  77. favorites on it: some of them have been
  78. previewed on Boz's show on Slay Radio,
  79. so you know what to expect

  81. So: be there or be square, & spread the
  82. word! I need you! You can meet Boz,
  83. Ziphoid, me, Jeroen Tel, Reyn Ouwehand,
  84. Marcel Donne, Slaygon, Kwed, LMan &
  85. Sunflower, me (again, since I'll be so
  86. stressed I'll have forgotten you from
  87. the first time), Anna Black, Makke,
  88. Romeo Knight, Skitz, & loads more!
